In early 2026, expect Samsung to carry on its tradition and introduce the new Galaxy S26 series Galaxy S26+, and a Galaxy S26 Ultra. This is probably going to happen in early February or mid-January.

Samsung's next flagship lineup is the Galaxy S26 series. It appears that the Galaxy S26 will include a vanilla Galaxy S26, despite previous rumors of lineup alterations.

There are also conflicting rumors regarding the possible cost of the Galaxy S26. A possible price increase due to growing internal component costs was mentioned by several.

If there will be a price increase, it can be between $50 and $100. Samsung might be able to avoid using the Exynos 2600 chip, though.

Samsung may update the Galaxy S26's battery. The battery cell of the phone might be upgraded to 4,300mAh. In the meantime, there are speculations that a wireless charging upgrade and (finally) actual Qi2 charging are being prepared for the models.

Like other generations, the Galaxy S26 will outperform the Exynos 2600 in some areas and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in others.

We don't anticipate significant modifications in the camera department. There might be a new telephoto sensor, though, which should provide better details and reduced noise in low-light images.
