The Galaxy A9 (2016) features a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED Full HD (1080x1920 pixels) display, a 4000 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery, a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture, 3GB RAM, and 32GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage that can be increased via a microSDXC card slot.
The Galaxy A9 (2016) features a 13MP rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture, a 1/2.8" sensor, autofocus (AF), and optical image stabilization (OIS). It features an 8MP f/1.9 selfie camera. 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second is supported by both cameras.
Android 5.1.1 lollipop is preinstalled on the device. In 2017, it was updated to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
