Pros:
The Motorola Moto G Stylus (2022) offers excellent battery life, with its large 5,000 mAh battery easily lasting up to two days on moderate use. One of its biggest highlights is the built-in stylus, which is ideal for note-taking, sketching, and precise navigation—something rarely found in this price segment.
The Motorola Moto G Stylus (2022) also features a large and smooth 6.8-inch display with a 90 Hz or 120 Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and media consumption more enjoyable. Additionally, it includes several practical extras, such as a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot for storage expansion, and a charger included in the box, conveniences that are increasingly absent from more expensive smartphones.
Cons:
Despite its strengths, the Motorola Moto G Stylus (2022) has a few drawbacks. Camera performance is fairly average; although it features a 50MP main sensor, real-world photo quality—especially in low-light conditions—can be disappointing, and there is no support for 4K video recording. Charging speeds are also on the slower side, as the included 10W charger takes nearly three hours to fully recharge the battery.
Software support is limited compared to some rivals, with Motorola typically offering only one major Android update and around three years of bimonthly security patches, which falls short of competitors like Samsung. Additionally, the phone’s plastic build tends to attract fingerprints, the single bottom-firing speaker delivers only average sound quality, and the included stylus is fairly basic with noticeable input latency.
